Stunning stained glass in guest rooms, charming history of the building, use of premium bathroom amenities
Inconsistent room quality led to disappointment, especially with poor plumbing and plumbing issues!!! Noise from nearby roads affected sleep quality, so soundproofing improvements would be beneficial!!! Limited food availability hampers the overall experience!!!

The bathroom taps in my room were confusingly installed. I nearly froze while brushing my teeth. The radiator had a mind of its own, cycling on and off throughout the night, leaving the room too chilly. With the closest pub being miles away and the local inn currently closed, it felt rather isolated, particularly if you haven't stocked up on food beforehand. Just a heads-up, there might be unexpected challenges with dining options unless you're willing to drive several miles for a meal.

Recommend it for couples seeking relaxation
We really enjoyed the lovely little touches throughout our stay, fresh juice was provided in the hallway and the breakfast was made to order while you sat in a beautifully presented room. The hosts were incredibly warm and went out of their way to ensure we felt at home, including cooking us a delicious chicken curry last minute.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but honestly, worth it for the experience.

Had an amazing time with my friends! The house was cozy and Neil did a great job making us feel at home. We visited the local pub and enjoyed a delicious meal cooked by Sarah-Jane. The breakfast was the best we’ve had, all made to order. Just a heads up, it's in a quiet area, so no shops or restaurants are nearby.
The only downside was the thin walls. we could hear our friends upstairs at times but it didn't affect our sleep much.

pleasant stay with minor room issues
The host went above and beyond to accommodate us by changing our room due to my husband's height. The bed in our room provided exceptional comfort, making it easy to unwind after a long day.
Some rooms may not be ideal for taller guests.

My solo stay at The Belfry offered such comfort in a serene setting. The room, with its charming decor, provided a peaceful retreat. I must admit, occasional noise from the nearby road disrupted the tranquility. Regardless, the hosts' warmth and the delightful breakfast turned my visit into a truly memorable experience.

A Cozy Retreat with Delights
I had a wonderful stay in a very cozy room with a stunning stained glass window that captured the essence of the place. The attention to detail was impressive, with high-quality toiletries and thoughtful snacks available. Breakfast was a highlight, deliciously prepared to order with local ingredients that made for a fresh start to the day. One downside was the thin walls, which made it a bit noisy at times.

Couple looking for a relaxing getaway
The thing that stood out was the warm welcome I got when I first walked in, who doesn't love a cup of tea and homemade cake after a long drive, right? I was blown away by the breakfast, the homemade muesli was to die for, like seriously, where do I get that recipe.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you know what, it was worth every penny.
